Our Greater Graze Flock Information:

  • Production - Most of our hens average one egg a day & lay for a longer period of years than other breeds.
  • Feed - Free ranging with a Natural diet of seeds and bugs, together with our own home maid self mixed feed, non-factory produced!

Rhode Island Red Breed information:

  • Purpose - Dual purpose (Eggs and Meat).

  • Size - Standard sized birds (Hens will be around 6.5lb with roosters being around 8.5lb).

  • Characteristics - Great egg layers, Self sufficient, Low maintenance, Ideal for beginners, Love to forage and free range, Very hardy.

Best Incubation Tips:

  • Before Incubation - Keep at room temperature before incubation; Keep pointy side/ narrower end down in cartons / trays.

  • When ready to incubate - Place under a broody hen or in a pre-heated incubator!

  • Temperature & humidity - Follow incubator recommendations; we do ours at 99.5 F, with humidity around 55-60% & raised to around 65-70% the last 3 days.

*Unwashed means the outer protective layer is preserved, we do a basic quality control but slight dirt/ mess from the nest & natural environment might be present!

**We have great hatch rates, but obviously if anyone guarantees universal individual hatching success they're not being truthful because once they leave the farm there are many different variables with shipping & incubating. If you do have any issues, please don't be shy to simply send us a message, we always strive to go above and beyond to keep our customers happy!
- Please also send any good news/ pictures/ feedback if you get a chance.
- Thank you for supporting our small business!
